Hone your skills with poetry workshops and classes for poets at all levels.
How a poem draws a reader in and how it continues to resonate is important. In this workshop, we'll begin by looking at example poems that illustrate how an effective title, opening line, and closing lines create a strong, memorable poem. Participants are welcome to bring one or two draft poems with ten copies or to begin a new poem. Everyone will have an opportunity to receive gentle feedback and share their work with the full group if they so choose. Registration is recommended.
