Interested in creating a professional artist portfolio to display your work?
Art Capture Lab is a hands-on education program funded through the Arts Forward grant program that helps fine artists professionally document, and present, their work, maximizing the return on their artistic investment.
Through accessible workshops and practical training in photography, artists gain the tools and knowledge to elevate their visibility and value in today’s digital landscape.
This event will feature a photography workshop with both lecture time and hands-on activities focusing on learning how to create the necessary files for things like show applications and prints. Participants will be able to bring some of their artwork to photograph and will then participate in a pop-up photo session with other artists.
Immediately following the workshop, there will be an Artwork Photo Session. Artists may sign up to stop in with a piece of artwork to have photographed. (If you wish to have your art photographed, please sign up for this event as well.) You will use your new skills to photograph the artists' pieces, and they will leave with a print-ready image.
