Join us for an up-close discussion of life as a creative with author Nancy Christie and guest author Patricia Averbach.
Developed by Nancy Christie, award-winning author and creator and host of the popular Living the Writing Life podcast, Author Chat offers a “behind the pages” peek at the writing experience. Both entertaining and informative, Author Chat is an up-close discussion of life as a creative from both the personal and professional perspective.
During the 90-minute presentation, Christie and her guest author, Patricia Averbach, will share their unique experiences, insights and advice about being career authors.
Topics will include:
• What it’s like to go through the publishing and promoting process
• How they make time for writing
• Where their story ideas come from
• What is their idea of writing success
The floor will also be open to questions from the audience on any aspect of being a writer, creating a dynamic and free-flowing conversation between those who are intrigued by “the writing life” and two writers who are living it.
