A History of Puppetry

Attendees will have the opportunity to see, as well as handle puppets ranging from simple "ball-and-scarf" puppets, to English hand puppets, marionettes, Indonesian shadow puppets, rod puppets, masks, body puppets and Japanese "bunraku" style puppets. All ages are welcome to attend.
Founded in 2010, Great Lakes National Puppet Theater is an ensemble of talented visual and performing artists with a single vision of the creation, preservation, and performance of quality theater using puppets as the master portrayers of that vision.
All adult programs offer ASL interpretation provided by request. Call the Information Desk at 330-928-2117 ext. 2000 or email adultservices@fallslibrary.org. Please contact the library at least two weeks in advance.
