Learn the basics of sewing by completing a simple project with us!
Learn how to sew a sashiko monogram! “Sashiko” is a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique that uses a simple running stitch to mend and decorate fabrics. This simple project involves primarily hand-sewing, but participants can learn machine sewing as well if they would like. Due to the limited number of sewing machines available, patrons may have to return later to finish their projects. No prior sewing experience is necessary. Supplies for one project per person will be provided. Registration is required.
